Where to eat Summer Isles Hotel For a special treat, the hotel is open to non-residents for dinner at 8pm. . T Summer Isles Bar The bar adjoining the Hotel is less expensive and less formal than the dining room but still provides excellent fresh food with local shellfish aplenty. Fuaran Bar The local pub in Altandhu has food all day from snacks to full evening meals. Good wholesome, homemade food with fresh shellfish and fish usually available. Contact them at 01854 622 339 Coigach Craft Shop Stop in for a tea or coffee at the Craft shop, just along from Polbain Stores. The shop stocks locally made crafts, toys, gifts and knitwear. Further afield... The Albanach in Lochinver (about 30 - 40 mins from us at Reiff) has been tastefully decorated with a Victorian feel and a cosy atmosphere. Drinks are available in the conservatory; dinner is served in the candlelit dining room. Lesley Crosfield uses the finest produce for a creative, set, five course dinner menu.
