Lochs There are many small lochs in the area where you can catch brown trout. On the larger lochs, such as Oscaig, you can also try for sea trout - see the Coigach Craft Shop in Polbain for further details. |

Sea Fishing There's a variety of fish to catch - although admittedly not as much as there used to be. However, you should still catch plenty of mackerel, coley, pollack, ling and perhaps the occasional cod. There are trips run from Ullapool and occasionaly from Achiltibuie - let us know if interested and we can help arrange. You can also try fishing off the rocks around the coast, for example down by the harbour or near Reiff, or even off the pier at Badentarbet. |

.Rivers The main river fishing is on the River Garvie where you can get a good run of grilse. Permits for the east bank are available from Polly Estates, the west bank is through the Coigach Craft Shop |
